‘Please Pep’, ‘Tears of joy’, ‘Finally’ - Many MCFC fans go wild as ‘good news’ comes to light
According to an update from TYC Sports, via Man City Xtra, Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has recovered from a meniscus injury and could even feature against Arsenal today.
This development has come at the same time as a huge blow regarding Kevin De Bruyne’s fitness, with the Belgian set to miss City’s Premier League return.
Having suffered a plethora of injuries over the last year to star players, being without the likes of Aymeric Laporte, Aguero, Ilkay Gundogan and others for extended periods, the Argentine’s comeback is music to many Citizens’ ears.
The 32-year-old suffered knee damage during City’s 5-0 home win over Burnley in the summer, causing him to miss Pep Guardiola’s failed Champions League and FA Cup challenges.
With the club legend now back in action, plenty of Man City fans have been going wild over the “good news” – find some of their best verdicts from Twitter here.
