Report: £14.4m-valued Everton transfer target wanted by Ancelotti may leave in January
Everton transfer target Matias Vecino may leave Inter Milan in the January transfer window, according to FC Inter News.
However, as per the news outlet, the Uruguay international would prefer to take his chances at Antonio Conte’s team, but would consider a move in January if the Italian giants decided to put him through the door.
The publication also mentions that Sevilla are a team to keep an eye on, while Chelsea allegedly wanted him before his move to Inter and Carlo Ancelotti wanted him at Goodison Park in January of this year.
Would Vecino be a good signing for Everton?
Of course the big question is whether Vecino would be a good signing for the Merseyside club, and even more so whether they actually need him.

The Toffees have already brought in Allan from SSC Napoli and Abdoulaye Doucoure from Watford during the summer transfer window, and so signing another central midfield player may be questionable.
Vecino is also 29 years of age now, and so one may question as to whether his best years are behind him as he approaches his 30s.
Vecino could still add squad depth
On the other hand, the 29-year old could add some squad depth in the middle of the park if the Blues were to face an injury crisis there.
Vecino was also a hit in the Serie A in the 2019/20 term, winning 3.2 of his duels a game as well as averaging 1.6 tackles, 1.3 clearances and 1.1 shots per match (Sofascore).
Currently valued at £14.4 million, the midfielder may be worth the gamble for a reasonable price.
