Many Everton fans have been hailing the latest news on their pursuit of Isco as Sport have reported that Carlo Ancelotti has asked to sign him in the January transfer window.
As per the news outlet, the Goodison Park faithful could make a transfer offer of €20m (£18m) to Real Madrid for the Spain international, with his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu set to expire in 2022.
Nonetheless, Isco would certainly be a shrewd signing by the Merseyside club given his pedigree in the beautiful game.
The 28-year old is a serial winner, having won no fewer than four UEFA Champions League trophies, in addition to two La Liga titles and several other major accolades while playing for the Spanish giants (Transfermarkt).
His winning mentality is certainly a key asset that he can bring off the pitch, but on the pitch he has an eye for goals and assists too, having scored 51 goals and made a further 54 assists in 312 matches over all competitions for Los Blancos over the last eight consecutive terms (Transfermarkt).
