Sheffield United continue to shock the Premier League as they battle for a European spot, and their campaign got even better as they managed to beat Chelsea 3-0 at the weekend.
The result now means that the Blades sit seventh in the division, two points above Tottenham Hotspur in eighth and one point behind Wolves in sixth, per BBC Sport.
Striker David McGoldrick was the Man of the Match and rightly so as he scored two of the goals and picked up an 8.8 rating, per SofaScore.
It was a big day for the Irishman and his 1.6 shots per game on average has finally paid off as the brace represented his first ever Premier League goals, per WhoScored.
Obviously he would have been over the moon following the game, and he went to Instagram to express his joy as he posted an image of himself celebrating one of his goals and supported it with the caption, “Good day in the office !!!! #400shotslater.”
Many Sheffield United supporters have flocked to the post to praise the striker, who finally broke his duck with his 42nd shot at goal in the Premier League this term (Sky Sports).
Hopefully now he can continue scoring for the final three games of the season to give the Blades a chance of making Europe.
