Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton had his say on manager Neil Lennon after Bhoys were held to a 2-2 draw against Hibernian on Saturday.

The Bhoys struggled to break the opposition down and were forced to share the points at Easter Road, which left them seven points behind Steven Gerrard’s Rangers side with a game in hand, prior to their arch-rivals’ match on Sunday (via Fotmob).
Despite having only lost one game this season, they are yet to pick up a win in Europe and the Bhoys received intense scrutiny after their 4-1 defeat to Sparta Prague, with Lennon apologising to supporters after the full-time whistle.
Speaking to BT Sport (21/11, 4:55 pm), Sutton believes that Lennon will keep his job for the time being, but may have been lucky after their defeat in Europe.
“They are not going to sack him tonight. I would be shocked. They might sack him after Prague, but not after this.”
Celtic have a trip to Prague in their second tie against the Czech side in the Europa League on Thursday, and host Ross County next weekend.

This is probably one of the most critical moments in Neil Lennon’s managerial career. While the Irish tactician has done a fabulous job helping towards nine-in-a-row, all that goodwill could be undone if any more results go against them.
Lennon will know that Saturday’s performance was not good enough, and has some major decisions to make about his side’s defending, which came under fire at full-time by the likes of former Scottish Premiership player Neil McCann (cited by the Daily Record).
It is a big week for Celtic and an opportunity to get back on track that they must not squander.
