'Needs to be better than DCL' - Many Everton fans react to Ancelotti's comments on 'talent'

Loads of Everton fans have been reacting to some comments made by Carlo Ancelotti on Moise Kean in his pre-game press conference ahead of Newcastle United.

Speaking to the media (via The Toffee Blues), the Italian boss said about his country counterpart:

“This is what the contract says. We decided to allow him to go on loan to play more, but he has an opportunity to play more and show his quality here and he will be back next season for us.”

Indeed, the fact that Ancelotti has said that Kean will be back for the 2021/22 term suggests that his long-term future still lies with the Goodison Park faithful, despite the 20-year old being shipped out on loan to PSG after a disastrous spell on Merseyside.

Kean has had a very good start to the 2020/21 season with Paris Saint Germain, scoring four goals in four games in all competitions for the UEFA Champions League finalists (Transfermarkt).

If the striker carries on his good form for the rest of the campaign, then Ancelotti may be true to his word and keep him in the squad after his loan spell with the French giants expires.
