Sports'Hopefully' - 'Very dangerous' £9m-valued Everton ace hints he wants to leave
Theo Walcott has hinted that he would like to sign for Southampton on a permanent deal from Everton, as per the Saints’ official website (via Liverpool Echo).
When asked about his relationship with Ralph Hasenhuttl, the 31-year old said:
“I’m really enjoying my short time working with the manager at the moment and hopefully it can be a long-term thing.”
Indeed, perhaps Walcott is hinting that he would like to make his loan move from the Goodison Park faithful into a permanent one at the end of the 2020/21 term.
Walcott not getting chances at Everton
Indeed, Walcott was not playing regularly at Everton before he decide to move to St. Mary’s Stadium.
The England international only played in two of the seven matches for the Merseyside club in this season, with one of those in a mini 12-minute cameo off of the bench (Transfermarkt).

A permanent move for Walcott would likely suit all parties involved, with the wide man returning to his boyhood club who may be able to offer him more game time than Carlo Ancelotti’s team.
Nonetheless, Walcott arguably still has something to offer, and can be ‘very dangerous’ at times with his extra yard of pace and finishing ability.
He has scored 132 goals over the course of his footballing career for both club and country, which is certainly not a bad number considering that he mainly operates from the flank.
Currently valued at £9 million, if both clubs can negotiate a respectable transfer fee, then it may be an idea for the Toffees to let him go at the end of the campaign.
