Declan Rice has a special place in the hearts of many West Ham fans as he is a product of their academy, but it seemed possible that he could be moving to Chelsea in the most recent transfer window.

Frank Khalid is reporting that the Hammers are planning to offer Rice a lucrative new contract in order to convince him to snub a move to Stamford Bridge.
