Sports'Get him out' - Tottenham urged to bin ace with 'real quality' after inside claim
Speaking to Football Insider, pundit Noel Whelan has urged Spurs to pay Danny Rose and rip up his contract in order to seal a move away after a Tottenham inside claim – with the player apparently set to resist a pay out on reduced terms.
Rose, who has made 214 appearance for the Lilywhites since bursting on to the scene over a decade ago, scoring a wondergoal at home to Arsenal, now faces an unceremonious end to his time with the club following a dispute with Jose Mourinho.
Indeed, the Spurs boss hasn’t included Rose in either his Premier League or Europa League roster, with the Englishman now facing a torrid wait on the sidelines before he can find a new club in January.

However, as per recent reports from Football Insider, there is another way out – by mutually terminating the player’s contract and handing a £2.5 million fee to Rose plus pay out if he is to agree to the club move.
Whelan, speaking to the outlet, has now implored the Lilywhites to do just that – claiming that it may well be a necessity and Spurs have ‘got to pay’.
“At the end of the day a contract is a contract,” Whelan told Football Insider.
“If they want him out of the club they’ve got to pay him up, it’s pretty simple. It’s not rocket science, there’s not going to be any deals done there where he takes a wage cut.
“He’s obviously had that conversation with Tottenham already and they don’t feel he’s got anything to offer anymore and he’s not going to be good around the changing room anymore and part of the squad then you might as well let him go.
“Pay him the money, get him off the wage bill, get him out of the club and let him go and find somewhere to play his football.”

Lauded as a player with ‘real quality‘ by Newcastle manager Steve Bruce, a move away could be necessary for Rose to enter contention for the rearranged Euro 2020 tournament next year for England.
Amassing 29 caps for his country, finding a new club looks like the way only way for him to increase that tally.
