Plenty of Everton fans have praised Richarlison as he apologised for his red card against Liverpool in the Merseyside derby on Twitter.
Indeed, the Brazil international was shown a straight red card for a bad challenge on Thiago Alcantara late in the game, which finished 2-2 at Goodison Park.
Richarlison will now miss the next three matches for Carlo Ancelotti’s team in what could be a big blow to the Goodison Park faithful given that he has scored a rather impressive four goals and supplied a further two assists in seven games in all competitions so far this term, as per Transfermarkt.
The next three matches for the Toffees are all in the Premier League as they face Southampton and Newcastle United away and then Manchester United at home.
