'Messi who?', 'Bring him home' - Many RFC fans love club video of 85-cap man
Former Glasgow Rangers player Niko Kranjcar had a very good career at the top level.
During his time in the game, he played for Tottenham Hotspur, Portsmouth and Queens Park Rangers before the Gers, as well as the likes of Dynamo Kiev and Dinamo Zagreb. Not only that, he played 81 times for Croatia, scoring 15 goals, and lifted the FA Cup with Pompey.
He did most of this by the time he made it to Ibrox though and, unfortunately, he wasn’t the same player north of the border as he had been elsewhere. He managed just 26 appearances for the 54-time Scottish champions, with a cruciate ligament rupture damaging his time with the club.
Still, there were some good moments during his spell with the club, and the Gers have shared a video of one of them on their official Twitter page. The clip shows Kranjcar scoring a fantastic goal against Partick Thistle, and it has attracted the attention of the Gers supporters with one sarcastically commenting with ‘Messi who?’ in relation to the Argentine who has scored many great goals in his time.
Many have taken to the social media platform to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments below.

Would have been some player if he had working knees

What a terrific player he would have been if we could have signed him before his 60th birthday…
