'I'd stop supporting us' - Loads of Everton fans destroy 'sick note' as transfer news breaks
Loads of Everton fans have been destroying Adam Lallana as the Daily Telegraph reported that the Merseyside club as well as Brighton and Hove Albion, Burnley and Leicester City are all interested in signing the Liverpool man in the upcoming summer transfer window.
As per the outlet, Lallana will be out of contract at the end of the 2019/20 season and as he has not yet been offered a new deal, it is expected that he will be allowed to leave Anfield.
Indeed, it would perhaps be a bold move to switch from the Reds to the Blues given the bitter rivalry between the two teams, but Carlo Ancelotti may face competition from other sides in the Premier League for his services.
However, it seems as if the vast majority of EFC supporters would not like to see the 32-year old at Goodison Park based off of several of their reactions on Twitter.
One Toffee even labelled him as a ‘sick note’, as Lallana has had a long history of past injury woes both for LFC in addition to his time with Southampton, according to Transfermarkt.
Given these underlying issues, perhaps it is unsurprising that these Toffees warned the attacking midfield player away from their club:
I'd stop supporting us. Honestly.
