'FSG should push this through' – Many LFC fans speculate as 54-goal man wants Anfield move
Barcelona outcast Philippe Coutinho is reportedly hoping for a move back to Anfield ahead of next season.
According to Kevin Palmer (relayed via @AnfieldEdition), the Brazilian has ‘taken steps’ towards making a Merseyside return happen.
The midfielder is available on a one-year loan deal which will cost €9million (£8.1m). Coutinho has struggled to settle since leaving Liverpool, falling down the pecking order at Barcelona and loan club Bayern Munich not willing to make his deal permanent.
It seems a lot of Liverpool fans are sharing his desire to play under Jurgen Klopp again, with one supporter tweeting ‘FSG should push this through’. During his time at Anfield, Coutinho tallied 54 goals and 45 assists in 201 appearances (via Transfermarkt), numbers that would vastly improve Liverpool’s midfield.
The Reds offloaded the 28-year-old for a whopping £142m (via BBC Sport), now however, his Transfermarkt value has plummeted to £50.4m.

FSG should push this through, freshens the squad up, gives us the option of resting Salah, Bobby, Mane by playing a different formation. #YNWA
