Liverpool have shared Mohamed Salah’s goal against Arsenal back in August to get fans in the mood for their trip to the Emirates Stadium tonight.
The Premier League champions prepare to take on the Gunners as they continue their mission towards a 100-point season. The title has been wrapped up but further milestones can still be achieved, including Salah’s battle for the Golden Boot.
Liverpool have just three games to find seven points to end the campaign as centurions. However, Arsenal are fighting hard for a place in the Europa League, so it promises to be a challenging game for the Reds.
Despite the big task ahead, many Reds fans are hoping that Salah can score this time around and contribute to a win over Mikel Arteta’s side. One supporter has reflected on the Egyptian’s Anfield goal in the reverse fixture and mockingly tweeted: ‘Arsenal’s season was going well until this moment’.
The Gunners had played just two Premier League matches and had won both going into their trip to Liverpool at the start of the season. Their loss at Anfield triggered two back-to-back 2-2 draws in their next fixtures. [via Transfermarkt]
