Sports‘Take the money’ - Some West Ham fans beg GSB to offload ‘really special’ star after huge update
According to a report by Turkish outlet Fotomac, via Claret & Hugh, Fenerbahçe are eyeing up a move for West Ham United star Andriy Yarmolenko in January – with some Hammers supporters going on to beg GSB to ‘take the money’.
Yarmolenko, who has been dubbed too inconsistent by some fans, is attracting interest from the Turkish outfit as they aim to bolster their attack and with West Ham potentially needing a boost in funds as they reportedly eye a new striker of their own.
The Ukrainian is currently the club’s highest earner, on around £115,000-per-week, with Hammers now wanting him off the wage bill to avoid draining funds further.
Even though Declan Rice branded him as a ‘really special‘ asset, it’s arguable that his sale would put West Ham in a more stable position.
