Report: 'Talented' £22.5m-valued Everton star targeted for transfer; Brands involved
Moise Kean has been targeted for a permanent transfer in next summer’s transfer window by PSG, according to Le10Sport.
As per the French news outlet, Leonardo Araujo has reportedly planned to buy the Italy international from the Goodison Park faithful on a permanent deal once his loan spell expires at the end of the 2020/21 term.
However, the sporting director of Paris Saint Germain will have to meet with Marcel Brands first of all, with plans for a meeting reportedly already in place.
A transfer fee has not been quoted by the publication, although Kean is currently valued at £22.5m by Transfermarkt.
Everton should demand a lot for Kean
Indeed, the Merseyside club should demand as big of a transfer fee as possible for the ‘talented’ Kean, who has been on red hot form for the 2019/20 UEFA Champions League finalists ever since his move.
The 20 year-old has already scored five goals and made a further assist in just seven matches over all competitions so far for the reigning champions of Ligue 1 (Transfermarkt).
If he continues this form for the rest of the season, then it may bump his price tag up if Carlo Ancelotti’s side were to wish to sell him once his loan spell ends.
Everton would need a Kean replacement
Indeed, the Toffees would need to make sure that they line up a suitable replacement for Kean first before deciding on selling the striker to PSG.
If the likes of Richarlison or Dominic Calvert-Lewin are injured or out of form, then the Blues are very thin for depth up front, assuming Cenk Tosun continues to struggle in the top flight.
