Glasgow Rangers have drawn Falkirk in the last 16 of the Scottish League Cup.
This is a huge season for Steven Gerrard, and whilst the League Cup may not be his biggest priority, especially given that the Gers are top of the Premiership by nine points and also lead their Europa League group with Benfica, they cannot afford to throw away a solid chance of silverware when they have not lifted a major trophy since 2011.
Falkirk are currently in the Scottish third tier. Whilst there are in second place in the league and unbeaten after four games, it seems the Gers fans are supremely confident that they will not cause them any problems. They have taken to Twitter to share their delight at the draw.
