Glasgow Rangers fans have been reacting in their droves to the news that Malky Mackay has resigned from his position as the performance director of the Scottish FA.
It seems the Ibrox outfit’s fans, like everyone else north of the border, is happy that Mackay has left the job after four years in charge. Perhaps not in regards to anything he has done to the Gers during his time in the role, but more due to his track record prior to him taking up the position. After all, he was sacked at Cardiff City after controversy over offensive texts.
Technically, he has not done a terrible job. After all, Scotland have reached their first major tournament since 1998 with him as part of the team behind the scenes. However, that hasn’t stopped the Rangers fans sharing their delight at the news that he has stepped down, and they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
