Tottenham could make mid-season move for £13.5m-rated, 124-goal winger
According to football.london, Tottenham could make a January move for Internazionale winger Ivan Perisic.
Perisic on Spurs’ radar
Fussball Transfers reported in June that Spurs had their eye on the 31-year-old winger, but he ended up returning to Inter after ending his loan spell with Bayern Munich. He has been heavily involved this season under Antonio Conte, managing two assists in four matches. However, his future at the San Siro is still far from stable, it would appear.
As such, this report says Jose Mourinho could make a move for the former Borussia Dortmund man in the near future.
An exciting option for Mourinho
Whilst Perisic may be approaching the end of his career, he is still a quality footballer. Last season, he scored eight goals and provided 10 assists at Bayern, who won the treble. He was not a guaranteed starter, but he was a fantastic option either off the bench or as a rotational squad member.
Perisic has had a fantastic career. Despite being a winger, he has scored 124 goals over the years, as well as creating 96 assists. His C.V is rather impressive, with him appearing for Dortmund and Wolfsburg alongside his last two outfits. With a Transfermarkt valuation of just £13.5m, he would hardly break the bank either. This is a deal that Daniel Levy and Mourinho should really consider.
