The morale around West Ham is currently quite high as the Hammers are undefeated in their last three games against strong sides in the Premier League.
Following emphatic wins over Wolves and Leicester, they managed a dramatic comeback against London rivals Tottenham last weekend to draw 3-3.
Michail Antonio and Pablo Fornals have been key players during these matches, and Antonio has been talking about his close relationship with the Spaniard. The Englishman highlighted how close the two are and mentioned that he is doing one thing to help both him and new players from abroad who come to the club.
Antonio told The Sun, via @whufc_news: “One of my closest friends is Fornals – his English is good but is not proper. It’s enough for me to understand what he’s saying and we can go out and have a meal and speak to each other. I’m also trying to learn Spanish now – for him and players that are coming in.”
These comments have seen a lot of Irons fans praise the 30-year-old for his attempts to help newcomers to the club settle in at London Stadium. He has received a lot of acclaim throughout his West Ham career, with Jamie Redknapp saying he is ‘dangerous because he is unpredictable.’
