'Scottish football can't get any worse', 'Utter joke' - Many RFC fans rage at 'shambles'
Glasgow Rangers have been at loggerheads the with the SPFL over the past few months, and now it looks like they have passed the mantle over to someone else.
The resolution proposal has opened a whole can of worms, with the Ibrox outfit accusing the governing body of corruption after Dundee’s vote was first not registered and then changed. They even pushed for an independent investigation into the authority, but that was eventually quashed.
Now, Hearts and Partick Thistle are leading the charge against the SPFL, taking over from the 54-time Scottish champions. They are preparing to face an arbitration panel against the governing body as they attempt to see their relegations overturned.
They are also facing Dundee United, Cove Rangers and Raith Rangers, all of whom have been promoted and therefore do not want the decision to relegate Hearts and Partick prematurely to be overturned. However, it appears they are struggling financially, and now they have asked the other clubs in Scotland to help them pay their legal fees.
This has attracted the attention from the Gers supporters, and it is fair to say they are far from happy – one fan even called it a “shambles”. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
@dundeeunitedfc have just agreed £120k to sign Mellon. Shankland is one of best paid non-Old Firm players. Wages well over 100% of turnover.
You MUST be joking!

SPFL clubs – that were so desperate for money – they voted to end the season early and deliberately punished Hearts and Partick Thistle will now use that money to help Utd, Raith and Cove? Nah.
