Crystal Palace are interested in a move for Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor, according to French outlet Homme du Match.
And, as to be expected, a number of Eagles and Hoops fans have been reacting to the links on social media.
Homme du Match claim that Palace are planning to test Celtic’s resolve with a bid in the region of £7m for the Scotland international following an initial enquiry.
McGregor has been an ultimate professional at Celtic Park since 2013 and has racked up 332 appearances in green and white during that time, scoring 54 times and registering 64 assists.
He was named Celtic’s new club captain by manager Ange Postecoglou earlier this summer, succeeding Scott Brown, but it seems as if Patrick Vieira is keen on bringing the £6.3m-rated 28-year-old to Selhurst Park.
