'Abysmal', 'Needs to be moved on ASAP' - Many Wolves fans slam 'liability' vs Celta Vigo
Many Wolves fans have been slamming the performance of Romain Saiss in their 1-0 pre-season loss to Celta Vigo on Saturday.
The Morocco international was guilty of giving away a needless penalty in the first half, which Iago Aspas promptly converted, as it ended up costing his side the game.
He was then guilty of a very bad foul in the second half of the match, which The Athletic journalist Tim Spiers described as ‘reckless’, ‘late’ and ‘aggressive’, and argued that the 31-year-old would have been sent off if it were a Premier League game.
With the new top-flight campaign only a matter of days away, Bruno Lage has a big decision to make over whether to keep pursuing with Saiss or drop him for their opening game against Community Shield winners Leicester.

These Wolves fans on Twitter slammed the Moroccan’s performance against the La Liga side, with a couple of supporters claiming that Saiss is a ‘liability’:
“He’s a walking red card and will only get worse as he’s getting older and the legs are going. Marcal was top draw in that position when he was at Lyon in the CL.”
“He needs to be moved on ASAP”
“Saiss is an absolute liability, should be absolutely nowhere near this team!!”
“Saiss needs to be sold. He worries me.”
“absolutely abysmal tackle, he is a liability”
“Get him gone as well”
