Leeds United have made a bid for Celtic youngster Matthew Anderson, as relayed by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

With 2021/22 pre-season fast approaching, the race is on for Marcelo Bielsa to acquire the signings necessary to improve on the Whites’ commendable ninth placed finish last season.
Though tailor-made first-team signings will take precedence, bringing in youthful starlets with vast potential will of course to the club for the long-term.
And it looks like Leeds could be set to bring in a 17-year-old defender following recent reports.

Leeds United are said to have offered Anderson the chance to swap Lennoxtown for Thorp Arch this summer [Yorkshire Evening Post].
Currently, he is tutored by Celtic Under-18 coach Darren O’Dea, who plied his trade on loan at Elland Road in the 2011/12 campaign when the Yorkshiremen were in the English second-tier [BBC].

He has been capped by Scotland at Under-16 level, featuring in the famed Victory Shield trophy for his native country.
