‘Pain’, ‘So bad’ - Some WHU fans crushed as ExWHUemployee drops firm five-word striker verdict
Some West Ham United fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by West Ham insider @ExWHUemployee in which he issued a claim on the Irons’ pursuit of Bournemouth attacker Josh King.
This comes after it was reported that the east London club are targeting the Norwegian as a replacement for Sebastien Haller, who has been sold to Ajax.
However, per ExWHUemployee, ‘this deal is not close,’ as is evident by the fact that the £9.9m-rated man started, and ultimately went on to play the full 90 minutes, scoring two goals and providing one assist, as the Cherries earned a 4-1 win over Oldham Athletic in the FA Cup at the weekend.
So, how have these West Ham United fans been reacting to ExWHUemployee’s claim?
The West Ham insider’s claim drew a negative reaction from many Irons fans, some of whom indicated that they’re worried that The Hammers won’t sign anyone this month to replace Haller.
“Is there A SINGLE player that actually wants to joins us”
“Pain”
“We’re so bad at business”
“Annoying. Think we’d consider Armstrong from Blackburn?”
“Why are our recruitment team so poor Ex? Can Moyes fix this fast please?”
“It’s the West Ham way, sell a player and let’s do the scatter gun to find a replacement..we will prob get Wilfred Bony on deadline day”
“Seems strange, he was desperate to join. We sell a striker and no movement.”
“And that we are likely to play out the last 4 months of the season with one (semi-fit) recognised striker”
In other news, some West Ham United fans are desperate for their club to sign Red Bull Salzburg attacker Patson Daka.
