Plenty of Everton fans have been slamming the injury news coming from Carlo Ancelotti ahead of their fourth Premier League game of the 2020/21 season again Graham Potter’s Brighton and Hove Albion at Goodison Park this afternoon.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference (via the official Twitter page of the Merseyside club), the Italian confirmed that Allan, Andre Gomes and Jonjoe Kenny will miss the match against the Seagulls, while Richarlison will have a fitness test.
Indeed, the losses of Allan, Gomes and Kenny, as well as possibly Richarlison, will particularly hurt the Toffees given that they have all made at least three appearances each so far in this season, according to Transfermarkt.
The Blues will now have to try and keep their 100% record in the league campaign so far without these players at their disposal.
