Jose Mourinho will be looking to hit the ground running with Tottenham when the Premier League returns this upcoming week.
As it stands, Spurs are in eighth place in the Premier League as they look to qualify for the Champions League – however, they find themselves seven points behind Chelsea who occupy the last spot for said tournament. Their participation in the competition will likely have a big say on who they can afford to bring in this summer – it is vital they finish in the top four.
Even though the campaign is not yet finished, though, the Lilywhites are still being linked with potential new recruits, one of which is Juventus’ Aaron Ramsey. According to The Daily Mirror, Mourinho and Spurs have been offered the chance to sign the £25.2m-valued Wales international – as per Transfermarkt.
Whilst he may be a former Arsenal player, it would appear that the Tottenham supporters would like to see him move back to north London. Indeed, he is someone with a good Premier League pedigree having scored 65 and assisted 65 goals during his time with the Gunners (Transfermarkt).
