SportsQuiz: Glasgow Rangers players & managers at major international tournaments
This was meant to be the weekend on which UEFA Euro 2020 got underway, with Glasgow earmarked for four matches in total at the tournament.
However, the coronavirus pandemic which halted football across Europe and ultimately brought the Scottish club season to a premature end also caused the continent’s flagship international tournament to be deferred until next year.
Several Glasgow Rangers players may well have been gearing up for the Euros around now had it not been postponed, with Glen Kamara, Borna Barisic, Nikola Katic and Filip Helander all featuring for teams who had qualified for the finals while Ianis Hagi, Steven Davis and Ryan Jack could also have been there depending on their countries’ play-off fate.
